Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of CanchaSync, including our website, web app and any related services (together, the “Platform”). CanchaSync is operated by [CanchaSync legal entity name], registered at [Registered business address] (“CanchaSync”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use CanchaSync. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of how the Platform works.

You must be at least 13 years old to create a CanchaSync account. When you sign up, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If the law where you live sets a higher minimum age, or requires a parent or guardian's consent for someone your age, you may only use CanchaSync if you meet that requirement.

If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we will review it and may suspend or delete it, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Legal review required: confirm the minimum age and any parental-consent requirements for Bahrain and each GCC market, and any additional obligations for youth sports participation.

To use most features you need an account. You agree to:

• Give accurate, current information, including your real name, and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password secure and not share your account with anyone else.
• Tell us promptly at hello@canchasync.app if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.
• Take responsibility for activity that happens under your account, unless it results from our own failure to protect it.

One person, one account. You may not create accounts for other people without their permission, or create accounts to get around a suspension.

CanchaSync is a padel platform that helps players, clubs, venues and organizers play, organize and manage padel in one place. Depending on what's available in your area and account, features may include:

• Player profiles and account settings.
• Discovering and joining matches.
• Clubs, venues and organizer tools.
• Tournament creation, registrations, rosters and waitlists.
• Draws, brackets, rotations, schedules and live score entry.
• Results, standings, rankings, leaderboards and player statistics.
• Court bookings, where offered.
• Notifications, community features and support.

We're constantly improving CanchaSync, so features may change, be added or be removed. We'll try to give reasonable notice of significant changes that affect you.

Players

Show up for matches and events you've joined, or withdraw in good time using the Platform. Follow the rules set by the organizer and venue, and play within your own physical ability.

Organizers

If you create a tournament, match or event, you are responsible for running it: accurate event details, fair draws, correct scores, clear communication with participants, and any fees, prizes or refunds you set, in line with applicable law and the venue's rules.

Clubs and venues

If you represent a club or venue, you are responsible for the accuracy of your listings, availability and prices, and for your courts, facilities, staff, safety measures, licences and insurance.

You confirm you have the authority to act for any club, venue or organization you represent on CanchaSync.

When using CanchaSync, you agree not to:

• Break any law or regulation, or help anyone else do so.
• Access accounts, data or parts of the Platform you're not authorized to use.
• Interfere with, overload, probe, scrape or reverse-engineer the Platform, or bypass any security or rate limits.
• Use bots or automated tools to create accounts, register for events, book courts or collect data, unless we've agreed in writing.
• Upload malware or anything designed to harm the Platform or other users.
• Use the Platform for unsolicited advertising or spam.

CanchaSync is built around local padel communities. Treat other players, organizers, clubs and staff with respect — on court and on the Platform.

The following are not allowed on CanchaSync:

• Harassment, bullying, threats or intimidation.
• Discriminatory, hateful or abusive content or behaviour, including based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, disability or age.
• Sexual content, or any content that exploits or endangers minors.
• Impersonating another person, club or organization, or misrepresenting your affiliation.
• Cheating: entering false scores, manipulating results, rankings or standings, or registering under a false identity or level.
• Fraud, including fake bookings, payment fraud or misleading event listings.
• Sharing other people's personal information without their permission.
• Any other unlawful conduct or misuse of the Platform.

You can report behaviour that breaks these rules to hello@canchasync.app. We review reports and may act as described in section 18.

“User Content” means anything you or others add to CanchaSync, including:

• Profile information and profile photos or images.
• Tournament, event and club information.
• Match registrations, results, scores, rankings and tournament standings.
• Comments, posts, messages and other communications, where those features exist.

You keep ownership of your User Content. You give CanchaSync a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display and adapt it as needed to operate, improve and promote the Platform — for example, showing your name and results on a public tournament leaderboard or an exported results image. This licence ends when your content is deleted, except where it has been shared with others, forms part of historical results, or must be kept for legal reasons.

You're responsible for your User Content and confirm you have the right to share it. We may remove content that breaks these Terms or the law.

Legal review required: confirm the scope and duration of the content licence, and how historical results and rankings are handled after account deletion.

Scores, rankings, standings, bookings and player information are only as good as what's entered. Organizers and players who enter results must enter them honestly and accurately.

CanchaSync calculates standings, rankings and statistics automatically from the data entered, but we don't verify what happens on court. We may correct, annotate or remove results, rankings or player information that appear inaccurate, disputed or manipulated. Disputes about a result should first be raised with the event organizer.

Where CanchaSync offers court bookings or paid event registrations:

• Prices, fees and availability are set by the relevant club, venue or organizer and shown before you confirm.
• Booking a court or registering for an event is a commitment. Please cancel within the stated cancellation window if you can't attend — repeated no-shows may lead to restrictions on your account.
• Cancellations, no-shows, refunds and credits are governed by the booking, cancellation and refund policy shown at the time of booking.
• Payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider under its own terms. CanchaSync does not store your full card details.

Our full booking, cancellation and refund policy will be published at [Payment and refund policy link] before paid bookings or paid registrations are offered. Where that policy and these Terms differ on those topics, that policy applies.

Legal review required: finalize the refund policy, cancellation windows, no-show rules and consumer-protection obligations for each market before enabling payments.

Many matches, events and courts on CanchaSync are provided by independent clubs, venues and organizers, not by CanchaSync. Any agreement to play, book or take part is between you and them. We don't control, and aren't responsible for, the quality, safety or legality of their events, facilities or services.

Unless we clearly state otherwise for a specific event, CanchaSync provides technology — we don't organize, supervise or referee real-world play. Clubs, organizers, venues and participants remain responsible for:

• Real-world events, their organization and their rules.
• Court safety, venue conditions, equipment and facilities.
• Deciding whether to take part, and playing within their own health and ability.
• Insurance, where applicable.
• Following local laws, rules and venue policies.
• Agreements between participants, including shared costs.

Padel is a physical sport with a risk of injury. Take part only if you're fit to do so.

We'll send you service communications needed to run your account and the features you use — for example, email confirmation, password resets, booking or registration confirmations, schedule changes and important updates to these Terms. You can manage optional notifications in your settings; service communications can't be switched off while you have an account.

Marketing or promotional messages, if we ever send them, will only be sent where you've separately opted in, and you can opt out at any time.

CanchaSync, its software, design, logos and brand are owned by [CanchaSync legal entity name] or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Platform for its intended purpose, in line with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or create derivative works from the Platform or use our brand without our written permission — except for sharing results images and links using the Platform's own sharing features.

CanchaSync may use or link to third-party services, such as sign-in with Google, payment providers, maps and social networks. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we aren't responsible for them.

You can stop using CanchaSync and delete or deactivate your account at any time from your settings or by contacting hello@canchasync.app.

We may restrict, suspend or close an account, or remove content, if we reasonably believe it breaks these Terms or the law, creates risk for other users or CanchaSync, or is required by law. Where appropriate and lawful, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to respond. Serious breaches — such as fraud, cheating, threats or content endangering minors — may lead to immediate action.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licences for historical results, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and dispute resolution) continue to apply.

We work hard to keep CanchaSync accurate, secure and available, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we don't promise that the Platform will always be uninterrupted or error-free, or that results, rankings, schedules or listings entered by others are accurate or complete.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection law that cannot be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, CanchaSync is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, or for loss arising from the acts or omissions of other users, clubs, venues or organizers, or from real-world events and activities arranged through the Platform.

Where we are liable, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to CanchaSync in the [12] months before the claim or [amount and currency]. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Legal review required: confirm enforceability of this limitation, the cap and currency under the governing law chosen.

Where permitted by law, you agree to compensate CanchaSync for reasonable losses and costs arising from third-party claims caused by your breach of these Terms, your User Content, or your misuse of the Platform. This doesn't apply to the extent the claim was caused by our own fault.

We may update these Terms as CanchaSync grows. Each version is dated and numbered at the top of this page. If we make a material change, we'll tell you in advance by email or in the app, and ask you to review and accept the updated Terms before you continue using your account. Earlier versions are kept on record.

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Governing law / jurisdiction]. If you have a concern, please contact us first at hello@canchasync.app — most issues can be resolved quickly. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be handled by [Dispute-resolution forum / courts], without affecting any mandatory rights you have as a consumer where you live.
